(CNN Money) — 3D Systems announced that it has received a Gold 2015 Edison Award in the Science/Medical/Dental category for its healthcare solutions. Named after Thomas Edison, the Edison Awards honor is one the highest accolades a company can receive in the name of innovation and business success. It recognizes excellence in new product and service development, marketing and human-centered design and innovation. Nominees are judged by a panel of more than 3,000 leading business executives, including past award winners, academics, and leaders in the fields of product development, design, engineering, science, and medical.
